Shiny Wine is a boutique wine brand based in the Tamar Valley. These handcrafted wines are produced by James 'Shiny' Scott.
Shiny is a second generation Tasmanian winemaker who started in the wine industry at 18 years of age, studied Viticulture and Oenology in Adelaide and gained valuable winemaking experience working in Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, California, Bordeaux, and New Zealand. Now he is glad to be back in his home state producing cool climate wines that he is so passionate about.
Shiny Wine focuses on producing minimal intervention wines, that let the Tasmanian vineyards and varieties speak for themselves. All the wines are handmade, bottled and labelled by Shiny and friends.
